The answer is "Yes".
   According to the Korean Design Protection Law, Graphical user interface such as icons displayed on a screen of a computer, mobile phone, or PDA can be considered as a design and therefore, icons can be also exclusively protected.   Although icons and graphical elements are temporarily displayed and implemented on display devices of the forementioned products, the products with these icons and graphical elements acquires a design registration under the Korean Design Protection Law.   To file the products with the designs, the title of the products may be for example, "Computer Monitor with User Interface Image," "Mobile Phone with Graphics User Interface (GUI)," and "Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) Displaying Icons," etc.  In addtion, Graphical Design displayed on a LCD can be filed as a partial design application.
